Mana Escondido Plans 12/8 Opening; End of McFadden's?

SOUTH END - Upcoming Puerto Rican restaurant Mana Escondido tells Eater that delays will keep it from meeting its goal of opening on December 1. Instead, it's now shooting for December 8. [EBOS]

Update: It will not in fact open on December 8, but stay tuned for news of the official opening.

DOWNTOWN - What has been McFadden's Restaurant and Saloon could become another location of the chain Stadium Sports Bar & Grill, says UniversalHUB. UH reports that the licensing board will decide tomorrow on whether the chain will be allowed to pony up $675,000 for the spot, thereby joining others already in the area [UH]
