Cinquecento said it would open after Thanksgiving, and it is a restaurant of its word. A representative from the gargantuanly anticipated South End venue tells Eater that this coming Friday, November 30, is opening day. The restaurant comes from The Aquitaine Group, which runs six other restaurants including three Aquitaines, Gaslight, Metropolis Cafe and Union Bar and Grille, and it occupies the former Rocca space on Harrison Ave. Some highlights: weekend brunch, Roman menu items and decor, and free antipasto!
