Drink Tom Plum's Blues at Church

Photo: Rachel Leah Blumenthal

Some of your favorite bars around town are featuring snazzy drinks in honor of Cocktail Week; be sure to swing by Church, Saloon, Parlor Sports, and Rialto to try them out. The featured drink at Church is Tom Plum's Blues, a smooth and manly concoction of Ransom Old Tom Gin, simple syrup, Averna, and plum bitters. Named for the Bob Dylan song "Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues," the drink evokes an uplifting feeling of joy and energy. Just kidding! The song's totally depressing, like any good blues. But the drink is delicious, so head over, order one or five, and contemplate that Easter you spent in Juarez. And don't forget to check back later in the week to learn about the rest of the featured cocktails.
