In the mood for a burger for lunch today? Burger Dive, the new burger joint from the Legendary Restaurant Group, opened at Assembly Square today at 11 AM, according to a Facebook post from the restaurant. Additionally, their how-can-that-possibly-be-street-legal heavily decorated burger mobile is apparently taking to the streets next month. The restaurant hasn't posted a menu yet, but earlier reports indicate that there will be hand-cut fries, fresh-baked bread, and boozy milkshakes. A recent preview from The Improper Bostonian describes the ambiance as resembling "an oil-change shop, with large glass and steel garage doors." There are 40 seats inside and 120 on an outside patio. The hamburger buns, the Improper notes, will be branded with the restaurant's name, and the milkshakes will have cakes and pies blended into them.
