FENWAY - Neighborhoods Coffee & Crepes didn't make its intended opening date - which was today - but is poised to open at the drop of a hat, or rather when the inspectors say it can. The restaurant's website says "We are at the mercy of the inspectors at the moment. Will let you know when they are able to drop in, and we can open within 24 hours of their okay!" [Official Site]
SOUTH BOSTON - This spring, the top of the Boston Design Center will become home to the 55,000-square foot Higher Ground Farm, which the farm claims will be one of the biggest of its kind in the whole, wide world. Yes, it will supply restaurants, so expect to hear a lot more about that come spring. [Official Site]

THE BURBS - The future of the infamous suburban restaurant strip that is Moody Street in Waltham is a cause of concern for the Waltham Patch, which worries that eight restaurant closings in the past year isn't a good sign. But that's not stopping Charcoal Guido's Pizzeria & Bar from opening shop there, which it will soon do. [WP]
