Laugh Boston Comedy Club Headed for The Seaport

A big new comedy club called Laugh Boston plans to open and serve "snacks" and booze in the Seaport District, says the Globe, though comedy will be the venue's main focus. Laugh Boston is headed for a 6,000 square foot space at the Westin Boston Waterfront Hotel and will have just under 300 seats. The club comes from operators Wicked Comedy, who also run Nick's Comedy Stop in the Theater District and Improv Asylum in the North End, and will primarily feature stand-up. According to a previous report, Laugh Boston plans to open by April. The club will join existing venues at the hotel including Sauciety, Birch Bar, City Bar and a location of the pub MJ O'Connor's.
