HUB-WIDE - We updated our Curbed Boston New Development Heatmap. It now includes 50 planned or recently completed apartment and condo projects around the region. Take a gander!

__
CHINATOWN - An honest-to-god 2-BR at the Ritz-Carlton has hit the market for under $1 million. Albeit just barely under a million—$995,000—it's still a black swan: According to our pals at Zillow, there is just one other 2-BR for sale at the Ritz, and that 35th-floor unit is asking $2,420,000.

__
SOMERVILLE - The city's aldermen O.K.'d Mayor Joseph Curtatone's Union Square redevelopment plan, which could add up to 850 housing units to the area as well as thousands of new residents and square feet of commercial and retail space. All of it would be in walking distance of an anticipated Green Line station.
__
BOSTON - Our David Bates looked at the city's busiest price ranges: "Boston's hottest price point, however, may be $600K to $699K. In the first eight months of 2012, the city notched an additional 85 sales in this price range. That's a 67 percent increase over the same period in 2011."
