SOMERVILLE - The upcoming Burger Dive aims to open by mid-November, reports Boston Restaurant Talk. Burger Dive is headed for Assembly Square and may include a burgermobile. [BRT, EBOS]

BOSTON - This Globe editorial says the police should stop busting hotels that give away a free glass of "sparkling wine" (i.e. non-geographical champagne) because the laws against the practice "are intended mainly to prevent drunken driving." Which people don't usually do after checking into a hotel. Agree, disagree? [BG]
