Try to dine at Trata in Harvard Square and you'll end up eating at The Boathouse, a new pub with Irish leanings in the former Trata space and by the same owners. The Harvard Crimson reports that The Boathouse is now open on Mount Auburn Street and quotes one of the owners saying "We just decided to do a rebrand." An employee from The Boathouse tells Eater that the restaurant opened one week ago today, on September 26. In the place of Trata's pizza and lasagna, you'll now find fish and chips, bangers and mash, and, what the heck, some fish tacos. The Boathouse is open from 11am to 1am daily, though the kitchen closes at 10pm. The venue also brings another brunch option to the square, and that's served from 11am to 4:30pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
