Last week Ashmont Grill alum John Rush became the new chef de cuisine at Church, promising to bring his native Pennsylvania Dutch cuisine to the Fenway area restaurant as it turns five. Rush has now shared his new menu, which includes brunch, dinner and dessert and chilaquiles, cider-brined pork tenderloin and roasted apple empanadas, respectively.
Also featured: truffled white bean dip, pan-fried pierogies, duck confit tacos, beet and fennel hash, and of course a flammkuchen flat bread: a pizza-like version of the German, savory tarte. Check out all three menus below.
