Suspension for Splash; Discovery Cafe Heads for Kendall

DOWNTOWN - Self-described "ultra-lounge" Splash was previously shut down for a few days following a bust that revealed underage drinking and overcrowding, and now the city says the venue has to close for an additional six days, reports UniversalHUB. CAMBRIDGE - Plaza Catering and Deli is moving its operations from Government Center to open a full-fledged restaurant in Kendall Square. Discovery Cafe is headed for 157 Sixth Street, and the restaurant tells Eater to expect a November 5 opening: see here for the daily specials. BRIGHTON - A new Mexican restaurant called La Catrina is looking to open at 1620 Comm Ave, says Boston.com. That would add yet another cuisine to a strip currently including Tasca and Bamboo Thai. [Boston.com]
