Banh Mi House recently opened on Winter Street in Downtown Crossing, right off the Common, with six varieties of the infamously delicious and affordable Vietnamese sandwich from which it takes its name. Owner Tin Tran now shares a look at the new shop's menu, including detailed descriptions of each sandwich. Take the classic banh mi: it unifies three nationalities of ham (French, American, Vietnamese) along with pâté, in-house mayonnaise, pickled daikon radish and carrots, cucumber, cilantro, and Maggi "soy" sauce. The menu also notes that bubble tea is not yet available, but will be soon along with soups, salads, spring rolls and smoothies. Check it out below.
