Grilled cheese vendor Cheeseboy plans to open its third Boston location (and eight overall) in Downtown Crossing, says The REAL Downtown Crossing Page on Facebook. According to that post, the Boston-based company "is opening in their first storefront right across from the Borders building on Washington Street." Boston Restaurant Talk says to expect "an array of grilled cheese sandwiches as well as soups and desserts" at the new location based on offerings at existing Cheeseboys. Cheeseboy currently serves takeout in South Station and at the Prudential Center, but could this "storefront" be Boston's first sit-down grilled cheese restaurant? Stay tuned and hit up the tipline with any of your own intel.
