Earlier this month Salvatore's became the local restaurant group heard round the world when the company created a media sensation with its alcohol infused pizza toppings. There's so much alcohol in the toppings - or so the story goes - that they can only be served to customers legally old enough to drink. The remarkable tale of this "21-plus pizza" attracted the attention of the Herald and Huffington Post as well as Anderson Live host Anderson Cooper. Cooper recently ate/drank some of the pizza on air with comic Rachel Dratch, who made fun of Boston for requiring pizza with booze on it, saying "Because in Boston you need the extra alcohol there." After taking a bite, she says "Oh my gosh that's weird, I mean it's delicious, Salvatore's!" Cooper is more generous, saying "I actually like the vodka-soaked cherries." See for yourself.
