The Chestnut Hill Shopping Center continues to prove its magnetic powers to attract big restaurants with news that Del Frisco's is planning to join the neighborhood. Del Frisco's is a national steakhouse chain that started in Dallas and now has nine locations to its name, including one in Boston's Seaport District. A press release says that the new location will be called Del Frisco's Grille and will be located on the second level of the WS Development headquarters - "a new 64,000-square-foot, three-story 'jewel-box' building" - with views of Hammond Pond. Other restaurants bound for the Chestnut Hill Shopping Center include, oh, Shake Shack and the new Davio's movie theater sidekick Davio's Cucina. Del Frisco's Grille could open as soon as "early 2013."
