After 24 years, Morton's on Boylston is feeling antsy, and now that bookstores have gone the way of the landline, the steakhouse is eyeing the space left vacant by the former Borders in Back Bay. The Herald reports that the restaurant seeks "a street-front address so it can take advantage of outdoor seating," which might sound like punishment at this time of year but could boost business come summer. The Boylston Morton's is one of two in Boston and one of 77 worldwide, and it has yet to sign a lease for the Borders location and may still shop around. Hopefully if it does make the move it will be rechristened Morton's Without Borders.
