Under Three Hours Till Lone Star Taco Bar

In fewer than three hours, the people of Allston will finally have the chance to sink their teeth into Boston's freshest taco establishment: Deep Ellum's "new little sister bar" Lone Star Taco Bar, which opens to the public today at 5:30pm. Grub Street shares a peek at the menu, which features several margaritas, cheladas, straight up Mexican beers and tequila cocktails like the paloma, combining blanco tequila, lime, salt, and a Mexican grapefruit soda. Tacos include in-house chorizo, carnitas, and a Baja style fish taco of the day. Boston.com notes that Lone Star occupies the space that was previously the Peruvian El Cafetal.
