If you're a big name Boston chef, chances are you also support Obama. At least that's what the roster for an upcoming fundraiser proves, when the city's culinary creme de la creme will show up to compete against one another as part of an event dubbed Chefs for Obama. The fundraiser will take place on January 31st at the Cyclorama, and Governor Deval Patrick and First Lady Diane Patrick will be on hand to judge the competition with Ming Tsai of Blue Ginger announcing the night's winner. The list of participants reads like a who's who of the local scene, including Jody Adams, Barbara Lynch, Jamie Bissonnette, Tiffani Faison and loads more. Could this be the biggest gathering of top Boston chefs ever? Shouldn't some hide in a bunker that night, just to be safe?
Also in attendance will be Chris Coombs of Deuxave, Evan Deluty from Stella, pop-up master Will Gilson, Gordon Hamersley of Hamersley’s Bistro, Barry Maiden from Hungry Mother, Seth Morrison from The Gallows, Rebecca Newell from The Beehive, Marc Orfaly of Pigalle, Brian Reyelt from the Franklin Café and Oishii's Ting Wen Yen.
