First Boston Five Guys Plans to Open This Summer

An official source from the company tells Eater that Five Guys Burgers and Fries plans to open its first location within Boston city limits either in June or July of this year. While there are currently Five Guys in Medford and Framingham and elsewhere throughout the state, the new location on Summer Street will bring the business downtown and will add another dimension to the quickly expanding Boston burger scene. According to our source, this location will be bigger than the average by almost 1,000 square feet but will otherwise be like every other Five Guys everywhere. Construction is expected to begin in April.
