After a cheery final sendoff, this past weekend American Craft in Brookline poured its last and closed its doors, says the Brookline TAB's blog. As Eater reported back November, Barcelona Wine Bar is rumored to be moving into the space, and a recent job posting for front of the house staff on Craigslist lists "Fall of 2012" for the opening. What with recent openings for Kika Tapas and Casa B it would seem that Spanish small plates continue to capture the hearts and minds of Boston restaurant goers. The Publick House, which is run by the same team and which also prominently features craft beer, remains open.
