The former Savant Project space in Mission Hill has been shuttered since last May, but Universal HUB reports that it may become home to a new "edgy" sushi restaurant by the team behind The Ginger Exchange in Inman. According to the HUB, the restaurant's owners will be asking the Boston Licensing Board for the Savant Project's beer and wine license. If the hypothetical new restaurant embodies the mission statement made by Ginger Exchange on its website, we can expect it to "reinvent "what 'Fried Ice Cream' in its tradition has been" and serve "great food & drinks that may sizz and flame."
