Yet another out-of-state sandwich chain is coming to Boston: Potbelly Sandwich Shop, a Chicago-based company, will be opening in Logan at a yet-unnamed date. The company posted a hiring notice on Craigslist last night, and it talks a lot about antique heating devices for a sandwich chain in an airport (they claim their name comes from their former incarnation as an antique shop). The Craigslist post also says that Potbelly has 230 shops across the U.S. and declares "Yes, Potbelly is opening shops in Boston." That's "shops," as in the plural, so it would seem that we can expect more, unless they just have bad grammar. Potbelly serves standards like Italian subs and roast beef as well as soups, salads, and shakes.
