Backbar in Somerville to Open at the End of the Month

Backbar, the latest in the new flock of craft cocktail bars, will be opening in Somerville's Union Square later this month. The bar has yet to announce an opening date, but based on an inside tip it appears to be on schedule for the tail end of 2011. The bar will be managed by Drink alum Sam Treadway and comes from the team behind Journeyman. And by "behind" we also mean that the bar is literally behind Journeyman, hence the name.
