Is Moody's Falafel Palace in Central Square Closing?

New, 1 comment

A post on Chowhound notes that Moody's Falafel Palace in Central Square has newspapers covering its windows, and Eater finds that the restaurant's phone number yields a "your call cannot be completed at this time" message. Only time will tell whether they're renovating, closed or have disconnected their phone line and found a new way to read the newspaper. The teeny neighborhood standby occupies a former White Castle, has been around since the 80's and is known for its late hours and cheap eats. Its closing would cause much alcohol to flow directly into the bloodstream of the post-concert crowd, their stomachs unlined with falafel.
