Beloved neighborhood burrito fix Villa Mexico is being kicked out of its current location and was then denied a request to move nearby, but things are now looking up. BostonTweet shares news that the restaurant has raised $3,000 towards relocating and the Villa Mexico Kickstarter page says that's halfway towards their goal. Amazingly, funds were mostly received from customers via a rechristened tip jar. They also write that "things are now looking more peaceful" after subsequent meetings with city officials, so it seems as though they might not have to close after all. And only a city official with a heart of stone would not be moved by the closing of VM's latest post: "Please my friends, keep on spreading the voice, I know we can make it!"
