According to a post on Boston Restaurant Talk, a new restaurant called China King will be taking the place of Rainbow Cafe in Chinatown. BRT reports that China King has a business license to open in the same spot and that Rainbow Cafe's phone number is no longer working, which Eater has confirmed. The most recent review on Yelp is from September and states "The lady owner also said that she will be retiring and that the restaurant will be closing down." By all appearances, Rainbow Cafe is now closed: all hail the new China King.
