What happens when Colombian and Puerto Rican architect-caterers open a tasca? Find out this Saturday when Casa B opens in Union Square. The space will be split between a street level lounge and an underground taverna where diners will literally rub elbows at communal tables in view of an open kitchen, which will put the "pan" in Spanish as they prepare dishes influenced by several Latin cuisines. The opening comes just one week after Kika Tapas debuted in Kendall Square and as Barcelona Wine Bar plans its move to Brookline.
