First of Five Miller's Ale Houses Opens This Month

Miller's Ale House, a Florida-based sports bar and restaurant, is taking over the former Bugaboo Creek Steakhouse space in Watertown and opening on December 20th, reports the Waltham Patch. The restaurant's Florida roots will shine through with nautical decor (i.e. stuffed fish on the walls), a raw bar and a a selection of seafood dishes. Miller's Ale House seems comparable to Bugaboo before it in that it's a chain restaurant that intends to serve affordable food to normal people, though there will be oysters and Dogfish Head on tap for the rest. The chain has over 40 locations and though this will be the first in New England, they plan to open four more by 2013.
