JM Curley, a new restaurant and late night hangout, will soft open on Temple Place in Downtown Crossing this Friday. Boston Restaurant Talk tells us the bar will feature over 30 craft beers, and UrbanDaddy reports that the kitchen will turn out pastrami hash, porterhouse pork chops, cookies, and a Death Row Burger combining an enormous slab of ground beef, pulled pork and bacon. The restaurant is managed by the BiNA Family Hospitality, which also runs Bina Osteria, Bin 26 and Lala Rokh and is named for the former mayor/governor whose statue stands at Faneuil Hall. Not to be confused with J.M. Curley's restaurant equipment store in Kingston, which does not have a Death Row burger.
