Kika Tapas, the new taperia opening this month in Kendall Square, has leaked a few additional details regarding their upcoming launch. The owners, who also run Tapeo on Newbury Street and Solea in Waltham, have released a preview of the menu, which is broken down into pintxos (Basque tapas), charcuteria, tapas, platos principales, paellas and fideuas (noodle dishes), bocadillos, and ensaladas. Dishes include octopus with paprika and olive oil and beef tenderloin with apricots, prunes and dried figs in a brandy cream sauce. The decor will feature a mural depicting the films of gender-bending Spanish director Pedro Almodovar, who also created the character that is the source of the restaurant's name. The opening is slated for the week of November 21st.
