Preview of Julep Bar Cocktail Menu

The new Julep Bar is slated to open in the Financial District later this week and has shared a preview of its cocktail menu with Eater. Vintage drinks will dominate, and there will also be a selection of house infusions such as vanilla and fig Grand Marnier and vodka steeped with black tea and mint or a cranberry and cherry combo. Classic cocktails include the Vesper, made with gin, vodka, Lillet and angostura bitters. Grub options include snazzy riffs on classic bar fare like Buffalo duck drumettes with Roquefort, spicy tuna tartare tacos, and foie gras gravy and cheese fries. The bar promises a "garden to glass" approach (which answers yesterday's question) and the former Revolution Rock Bar space will be decked out with plush decor designed by Tanya Nayak of HGTV fame. Oh, and they'll have mint juleps.
