In the latest weekly food chat at the Globe's blog Dishing, food critic Devra First shared several juicy rumors involving top Boston chefs. First says that Tom of of the former Peking Tom's may be involved with a new venture by Jamie Bissonnette of KO Prime, Coppa and Toro. MC Slim JB chimed in saying that Bissonnette's latest is looking like a breakfast and lunch operation, and First notes that it may occupy the Columbus Cafe space. "I also believe Krista Kranyak of Ten Tables is planning a burger bar for the Bon Savor space," wrote First. Another rumor involves Michael Schlow, executive chef and owner of Radius and Via Matta who has appeared on Top Chef Masters and who is allegedly planning to open a diner where Burtons in the Fenway closed earlier this fall. "I'm feeling gossipy today" confessed First, paranthetically.
