Bourbon Coffee Coming to Porter Square

Photo: Bourbon Coffee/DC

Porter Square is about to get a new coffee shop that is named for a French island and has stores in Rwanda. Bourbon Coffee will be opening in Cambridge in the Porter Exchange in the space on Mass Ave where the Gap formerly was. The building is better known for its cubby-like Asian eateries but will now feature a cafe that touts its greenness and positive impact on coffee growing communities. Bourbon Coffee also has locations in NY and DC and takes a page from the farm to table concept with its "crop to cup" philosophy, which makes one wonder what's next in the ever evolving world of phrases structured "______ to ______" ? Cane to candy? According to a post on Chowhound, Bourbon Coffee will be opening by the end of the month.
