Robert Nadeau gives Artisan Bistro in the Ritz-Carlton Boston Common three stars for its ever so slightly smoky clam chowder, excellent bread, lobster, artichoke, and Gruyere flatbread, chicken pie and pork chop. Forget that you're in a Ritz, says Nadeau, and you'll find yourself in "a pretty good gastropub." [Boston Phoenix]
