2Farm-Commute-537x336.jpgMayor Menino announced an amendment to the city's zoning code that will turn two vacant city lots in Dorchester into urban farm plots growing fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers. The amendment is aimed at facilitating Boston's Urban Agriculture Pilot project which will bring more farming to the city, especially in neighborhoods where access to fresh produce is limited.
