Casinos and Their Restaurants Coming to Boston

Photo: Healthy & Sane

Governor Patrick just signed the casino bill into law, meaning a casino can now be built in Boston along with two others elsewhere in the state and one slot machine parlor that, like a 300 pound gorilla, can go wherever it wants. Projections for the opening of the first casino range from three to five years, and if Massachusetts casinos are anything like their neighbors in CT, we can expect restaurants by celebrity chefs like Bobby Flay and Todd English, who brings us the fake rock-encrusted Tuscany at Mohegan Sun. Hopefully this means we can look forward to some suave shots of Todd personally hewing the artificial stone.
