Soft Opening for Descent at the W

Descent, a new lounge at the W Hotel in the Theater District, has announced its soft opening phase. In other words, they're "open," but not yet OPEN! The date of the grand opening has not yet been set, but the space is now serving the general public. Cocktails are presided over by Charlotte Voisey, the 2004 winner of UK Bartender of the Year who has also appeared on Top Chef Masters and Next Iron Chef America. An international lineup of DJ's will spin from a red glass booth, a nod to the Red Light District theme running throughout the decor. Seating is by reservation only.
