In a shameless, cutesy but nonetheless entertaining grab for publicity, Boston has been dubbed a "Top Date City" by a Medjool date growers association. Yes, that's "date" as in the fruit from a palm tree, not dinner and a movie. (Insert pun-induced groan here.) Why Boston? Apparently we eat a lot of dates. [SYS-CON]
