The upcoming Kika Tapas slated to open later this month in Kendall Square recently posted new construction photos to Facebook. The restaurant also shared a preview of their working menu, which includes Galician style octopus, paellas and fideuas, which are along the lines of paella made with noodles in lieu of rice. The taperia is brought to you by the owners of Tapeo on Newbury Street and Solea in Waltham and when complete will feature a mural of scenes from the movies of Spanish director Pedro Almodovar. Though yet to open, the restaurant already received criticism from a Facebook commenter who quipped: "1 little thing: charging for bread is lame." Kika Tapas was swift to respond, saying bread is complimentary for all diners but not drinkers.
