Blue Nile Ethiopian restaurant is once again open after a five year hiatus. The eatery formerly operated on South Huntington Avenue for 15 years, says the Jamaica Plain Gazette, and now stands where the Velouria coffee shop once did. Jamaica Plain Patch is happy to have Blue Nile in the neighborhood and writes that "lentils rule the vegetarian-friendly menu here." Yelp reviews of the new location are - surprise! - wildly polarized. "Can you say hidden gem?" says one Yelper. "This is one of the WORST restaurants I have EVER been to," says another. Blue Nile takes its place among other Boston Ethiopian restaurants including Addis Red Sea in Cambridge and the South End, Fasika in Somerville and Lucy Ethiopian Cafe in Back Bay.
