Bakey's Restaurant and Bar Closes Today

Bakey's Restaurant and Bar in the Financial District will pour and serve its last today. The 23-year-old restaurant is closing due to planned renovations by the building's new owner, who will open a new restaurant called The Warehouse on Broad in the same space. The Boston Herald marks the occasion with a heartstring-tugging video interview with Bakey's owner Hellen Paquin: "It is a very bittersweet ending for me. My heart is broken for all my dear friends and customers and also for my employees that have been very, very faithful all the years."
