Boston just got two new neighborhood coffee fixes with the opening of Three Little Figs on Highland Ave in Somerville and Render Coffee on Columbus Ave in the South End. Three Little Figs pours beans roasted by Gimme! Coffee in Ithaca and makes their own sweet and savory baked goods inspired by Greek family recipes. In addition to java Render serves classic coffee shop fare such as quiche and soup and plans to host caffeine-centric events including cuppings, latte art throw-downs and classes in home brewing. Their website ballsily proclaims "We will brew to order all drinks using multiple brew cones to guarantee the highest quality coffee in Boston."
