Fuji Upscale Sushi Coming to Kendall Square in Cambridge

A new high-end sushi joint is slated to open later this month in Kendall Square with the exact date tba. The restaurant, Fuji at Kendall, comes from the team behind several South Shore Asian restaurants in Quincy including Fuji 1546, B-Cafe, Shabu Restaurant, Bistro Chi, and The Kama Lounge. The new Fuji will feature Japanese and fusion creations by head chef Ming Cao, and the menu is already available online. Apps include tataki and dumplings with wasabi strawberry sauce, a full sushi menu (with Escolar truthfully labeled), stir fries, terriyaki and a lengthy list of smoothie flavors including avocado and watermelon.
