Boston food maven MC Slim JB just posted on Chowhound saying that Parlor Sports, adjacent to and owned by Trina's Starlite Lounge in Somerville's Inman Square, has safely cleared the soft opening phase. The two-year-old Southern-ish restaurant announced plans to open the adjacent sports bar on November 3rd, granting Inman Square a new source of craft beer, bar fare, booze and televised sports. Slim's post followed a call for November openings and closings and was in response to confirmation that Gargoyle's in Davis Square is no longer and that The Painted Burro, a yet to open Oaxacan restaurant, will take its place.
