On Saturday Clover HUB, the latest installment of the Clover Food Lab empire, opened its doors and began serving mushroom soup, hot mulled cider and other affordable vegetarian delights. The HUB houses the prep kitchen that stocks the fleet of Clover food trucks, and its cafe is the second brick-and-mortar establishment following Clover HSQ, the Harvard restaurant location. On Saturday Clover head honcho Ayr Muir blogged "We can’t wait. Everybody is running around this morning getting everything ready. It’s a really exciting feeling." Then, true to his MIT roots, Muir talked about having scored some cool glass paint.
