A longtime family-owned restaurant that serves up bar pizza and more in Brockton, Raynham, and Bridgewater plans to add a new location to its ranks in Easton. Cape Cod Cafe, which has been owned by the Jamoulis family for nearly 70 years, is working to finalize everything with its newest restaurant and could open the doors within the next week.
The restaurant is slated for 690 Depot St. in a Shaw’s Plaza, as previously reported, and Cape Cod Cafe’s bar pizzas figure prominently on the menu. Pies come in a classic 10-inch size or a large 16-inch size, in addition to a Sicilian-style sheet option. This pizza menu has everything: shrimp scampi, chicken broccoli Alfredo, spinach and feta, and Greek. There’s even a Tex Mex pie topped with tortilla chips and chili and rounded out with sour cream.
Also on the menu: the restaurant’s signature Greek salad and a few other salad options, plus assorted calzones made with "lots of cheese." Pizza will also be available by the slice, Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
An exact date has not been set, but stay tuned for updates on official details, which the restaurant plans to announce on social media.
Update, 7/1, 9:15 a.m.: Cape Cod Cafe's Easton location is officially open, according to a post on the restaurant's Facebook page. The hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
